Installation: Typed pages on wall (68" X 55"), iPhone app

A digital image from Lascaux Cave was converted to ASCII code and rewritten across 40 pages using an old Montgomery Ward typewriter. The work is installed in a dimly lit, rarely used space to mimic the context of the original paintings. A custom made iPhone app animates a series of ones and zeroes on screen in a pattern that resembles a torch. The app also activates the camera's LED flash, providing a flickering light source for the image on the wall.
